AI Acceptable Use Addendum.

This addendum forms part of the AOLC Terms & Conditions (TC-2026.03) and Privacy Policy (PP-2026.03). It applies to all AI-assisted features in the AOLC Platform.

1. Lawful use

AI features must be used in compliance with POPIA and applicable South African law. You must not use AI features to process personal information without a lawful basis, to generate unlawful content, or to circumvent platform security controls.

2. Human review

AI-generated outputs are assistive only. Staff must review AI-generated content before it is sent to clients or relied upon for professional, legal, financial, or security decisions.

3. Sub-processors

Where AI features use third-party providers (including foreign AI APIs), processing is disclosed in the Privacy Policy and sub-processor register. Cross-border transfers are subject to POPIA section 72 safeguards.

4. Prohibited use

• Pasting unrelated third-party personal information into AI prompts
• Attempting to extract confidential AOLC or client data through prompt manipulation
• Presenting AI output as binding professional advice without human review
• Redistributing AOLC platform prompts, workflows, or proprietary AI configurations

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
